Week 7

I decided to use one of my macro shots that I took of a honey bee. I used the lasso tool to put the bee and dandelion from the top picture on the bottom picture. I used the blur tool to make it look a little more natural, but it still looks like it is kind of floating. I actually had a lot of fun doing this even though it took a while to select the border and make it look natural.

  1. This is really neat, you did a great job at blending this photo.

  2. I think the added dandelion looks like it has a plausible stem (not like it's floating). I don't think I would have noticed that it was edited, if it hadn't been for this assignment. Nice job!

  3. I don't think it looks as though it is flowing. It took me a little bit to realize the edit. The only thing that catches my eye after careful examination is that you can tell it is the same exact flower because of how the petals are spread apart (the wide gap by the bee's behind). This is a really great job of adding the picture in and making it look natural.

  4. Good job! You blended the images really well! It takes a lot of looking to notice it's been edited.

  5. I did not even notice the top picture was edited at first, I had to reread what you had written and look at the bottom two pictures. Great Job using the blending feature and the lasso!
